We miss our Argentina family!

Our Argentina sister schools from Rafaela have departed.  They were with us for two weeks in September.  It was a bitter-sweet goodbye! However, it was heartwarming to see our students crying and hugging at the time of departure.  The Culture Exchange Program has proven to be a success and we are pleased that everyone enjoyed it, and learn a lot from it.  We are excited to continue to work and we are now preparing to launch our second year of this program!

Project 3

Video Conferencing Sessions

Students will video conference as a group, individually, and with their families.  Video conference will serve as a means of communication to get to know each other, introduce families, become familiar with living space and conditions prior to the exchange.
In addition, students will share a video on “My City” where they discuss education, culture, sports, recreation, and general information about their respective cities. This will help both students and families know what to expect at the time of the foreign exchange experience so that there may not be too many surprises.


Students are encouraged to post comments of their experience on this blog. 

Proyecto 2

Video project: My Daily Routine/Life.  Students make a 5 minute video about their daily lives, including extra curricular activities.  They are divided into two groups and do the video as a collaborative project.  The final product will be posted on YouTube or our Facebook group page. Participantes del programa de intercambio de Whitney:
Hay que participar en un proyecto de video. El tema del video es La vida de un alumno de Whitney. El video debe ser de unos 5 minutos y debe incluir lo que pasa en la vida de un alumno de Whitney dentro y también fuera de las clases. Necesitan trabajar juntos como grupo para decidir cómo quieren hacer el video y los detalles de lo que quieren incluir. Cada participante debe salir en el video.  El video final debe subirse a YouTube y poner el enlace (link) en este blog como un comentario. Si tienen preguntas, hablen con la Srta. Bojórquez, con la Sra. Homstad o pregunten en este blog.

Este proyecto se debe entregar el 28 de marzo.
