Hola a todos, yo soy la señorita Bojórquez, pues en EE.UU. usamos los apellidos para los profesores pero si quieren saber mi nombre es Carolina. Soy maestra de español de 3er año y doy una clase de estudios globales a los de primero. Me encanta ser maestra de idiomas porque es muy divertido. Además de ser maestra soy motociclista, me gusta hacer ejercicio, escuchar música como electrotango :P y de todos tipos. Me fascina la comida tailandesa e hindú, pero claro que me gusta también la comida mexicana.

Hola a todos, soy Johanna Paz y estoy en el onceavo grado en la escuela Whitney High School. Tengo dieciséis años de edad y voy a cumplir diecisiete el tres de marzo. Soy muy estudiosa y me concentro mucho en mis tareas y proyectos. Estoy estudiano francés, es dificil pero es muy similar a la gramática española. Además de ser muy estudiosa, me gusta jugar al fútbol, soy defensa. También me gusta jugar con mi hermanito en mi tiempo libre. Es un niño de tres años de edad y tiene demasiada energía! Me gusta salir con mis amigos al cine o a los parques de atracciones como Disneyland. Cuando voy al cine me gusta ver comedias. Mis películas favoritas son “The Hangover” y “Ferris Beuller’s Day Off.” Cuando me junto con mis amigos me gusta hacerlos reír. Se puede decir que soy un poco cómica. Me gusta escuchar todo timpo de música. Me gusta Shakira, Lady Gaga, Los Beatles, Bob Marley, Los Strokes y muchos más! En mis vacaciones de verano, fui al concierto de Lady Gaga con mi mamá y vi a un compañero de la escuela. El concierto fue muy espectacular y me divertí demasiado. Hace cinco años fui a un concierto de Shakira con mi familia. Es muy talentosa y me encanta la forma en que baila. Me encanta la comida Mexicana como las enchiladas, el pozole, y los tacos de carne asada. También me gusta la horchata. A pesar de que vivo en los EE.UU no me gustan los perros calientes.

When I am bored, I help cook cookies, cakes and muffing to my mum. When I´m with my friends, we talk a lot and we drink orange juice or mate.
I am Gastón Ardusso. I´m 16 years old and I go to school “Mario R. Vecchiolli” in the morning. My parent´s names are Omar and Maria Eugenia, and I have two brothers and one sister. ReplyDeleteMy hobbies are sports, I’m quite good at doing it and I really love it. I’m interested in soccer too but I’m a little upset because in this city there is no girl team so I can´t play apart from my friends.
I have passion for my friends and hanging out whit them, to different parties or just swimming pool in the summer. I like music, but I prefer pop music and maybe some specific music of here that you probably don´t know.
I like travel and learn about other cultures than mine and I hope to know from you.

ReplyDelete¡Hola amigos! Me llamo Hannah Joo, y acabo de cumplir 17 años el 14 de diciembre. Soy coreana y me gusta mucho la comida coreana, pero mi tipo de comida favorita es italiana. Vivo con mi madre y padre. Tengo una hermana mayor, Janice. Ella tiene 22 años y va a la universidad. Por eso, se queda en la escuela más de está en casa.
ReplyDeleteMe gusta ser una estudiante en Whitney. No hay muchos estudiantes en comparación con otras escuelas, pero en general, todos son muy amables y simpáticos. En la escuela, soy una parte de la club de drama y participo en los teatros. Además de ser una actriz, soy una bailarina. Había bailado ballet por 11 años y quiero seguir bailando cuando estoy en una universidad. Soy una fan de música y películas también. Como puede ver, me encanta las artes.
En mi tiempo libre, me gusta leer libros en el café o la biblioteca. Hay una biblioteca grande y hermosa en Cerritos. Debes visitarlo cuando llegues aquí. Cuando el tiempo lo permite, me gusta andar en la bicicleta en la parque porque es muy relajante. Sin embargo, nada es tan divertido como viajar. Había viajado a México, Canadá, Francia, Italia, Inglaterra, Escocia, China, Corea, Singapur, Hong Kong, Indonesia, y muchos lugares en EE.UU. Entonces, estoy muy emocionada de viajar a Argentina este verano. Espero viajar a Grecia, España, India, y Australia en el futuro.

ReplyDeleteI have got my grandparents, my uncle and my aunt and my cousins living in Cordoba and I visit them sometimes. My grandparents’ name are Armando and Nora, they are 77 years old. My uncle’s name is Oscar and my aunt’s name is Cecilia, she is my godmother too. And I have three cousins, Augusto, Constanza and Florencia.
I’m think and tall. I’ve wavy long brown hair and brown eyes. I wear casual clothes and I always carry my purse.
I love being with my friends and my family. I like listening to music and read some books, now I’m reading the last book of the Twilight saga. I like use my computer too. I don’t do any sport but when I go to school and I have to do some I prefer doing volleyball or handball. I used to dance in an academy.
During the school days I get up at 6.50 am and I dress and go to the bathroom. Then I have breakfast with my sister, Camila, and my parents. At 7.15 am, my father took us by car to the school. After that I start class with my classmates. At 9.30 I have recreation and after fifteen minutes I have another class. At 12.30 my father took us by car to home. Then I have lunch and I watch TV. After that I clean the dishes and have a nap at 2 pm. After that I do my homework and at 6 pm I go to prep school. I have dinner at 9.30 pm. After that I chat with my friends and finally I go to bed at 11 pm. At weekends I study and go to the disco wiht my friends.
On holidays I get up at 10 pm and my family and I have lunch. After that I go to a swimming pool or a friend’s house and my friends and I drink mate or terere with biscuits. And I come back to my house at 7 pm and I have a shower. After that I have dinner and then I go to bed or watch TV or chat with my friends. At night my friends and I sometimes meet in a house and we eat barbecue. At weekends I go to the disco with my friends.

ReplyDeleteMy name is MARÍA EUGENIA MARZIONI, but everybody calls me Taty. I am one of the teachers at Mario R. Vecchioli School and also one of the teachers in charge of this wonderful exchange. I am very happy to see the posts of the students either from Argentina or the USA, it is great to get to know you all. Let me tell you something about me.... Let me see... Well... I am 42 years old, I am married, have two daughters (one is Maru, 18 and the other is Virgi, 8) I have been teaching at Vecchioli for more than 17 years and it is a job I really love for two main reasons: one- I love English two- I love teaching. I also have other passions and the most important one is Drama. I am a theatre director and have my own Drama Group which puts on stage plays for children. I do hope we can share a drama activity while you are all here and also when we meet in the States.
I also love music, movies and doing exercise (well... not too much!!!) I love reading books and also studying.
Ok... that's all... I guess we will be getting to know one another a little more as time goes by!!

Mi hermana vive en su universidad, pero no es demasiado lejos de mi casa, por lo que la veo mucho. Hay sólo dos años de diferencia entre nosotros. Por eso estamos muy buenas amigas, y yo la echo de menos. En mi tiempo libre, me encanta bailar. He estado aprendiendo danza India por 10 años, y espero que continúe durante toda mi vida. Tal vez cuando usted viene aquí nos puede enseñar cómo ustedes bailan. Además, no tenemos ninguna discoteca para adolescentes en Cerritos, por eso le encantaría ir a uno en la Argentina. Muchas personas de mi familia de la India vive en mi ciudad, así que paso mucho tiempo con ellos y con mis abuelos. También me encanta escuchar música, ir a la playa, pasear, y jugar con mis amigos. Me gusta conducir, pero yo voy a obtener mi licencia en abril. Además, soy un vegano. No como queso, leche, mantequilla, yogur, huevos y carne. Por eso, como mucho de soja. Pueden parecer extraño, pero es realmente divertido y he conocido mucha gente y organizaciones interesantes. No es tan malo porque hay galletas, carnes, y helados veganos. :) Una cosa más que me gusta hacer es escribir blogs. Estoy muy emocionado de venir a Argentina porque me encanta viajar por todo el mundo, pero nunca he estado en América del Sur antes. I have a lot of friends and I love being with them and going out! I have a cheerful, kind and social personality. Sometimes I lost the patience and I get nervous, but after a few minutes I get back to my good mood.
I love dance too, here in Rafaela I take dance’s classes every week.
I’m very keen on learning English and for that reason I have been studying English since I was 6 years old.

ReplyDelete¡Saludos a todos! Me llamo Cindy Homstad y soy profesora de español en la escuela Whitney en Cerritos. Enseño las clases del nivel dos y de AP. En las clases de AP les ayudo a los alumnos a prepararse para un examen nacional que tomarán en mayo. Si pasan el examen, podrán recibir crédito universitario. ¡Ojalá que todos lo pasen este año!
ReplyDeleteHace muchísimos años que soy maestra. ¡Me encanta enseñarles a los jóvenes! También hace muchos años que soy casada. Vivo con mi esposo y nuestros dos hijos. Mi hijo Matthew tiene 21 años, es estudiante y juega al béisbol para el equipo de la universidad a la que asiste. Mi hija Michelle tiene 19 años y también asiste a la universidad. Piensa ser maestra de matemáticas en el futuro.
El noviembre pasado visité Rafaela con mi colega, la señorita Bojórquez. ¡Me fascinó conocer la ciudad y a la gente! Espero que este programa de intercambio entre Cerritos y Rafaela tenga éxito. También espero conocer bien a los estudiantes y maestros argentinos que nos vienen a visitar. ¡Hasta luego!

¡Hola amigos! Me llamo Carin Chin y yo soy un estudiante de la escuela de Whitney en Cerritos, California. Yo tengo quince años y estoy en mi primero año de la escuela. Me gusta leer, escuchar a música, cantar, tocar la guitarra (pero no soy bueno :P), comer, y jugar todos los deportes. Mis favoritos cantantes que hablan español son Enrique Iglesias, Luis Fonsi, y Shakira. Me gusta mucho la canción Waka Waka por Shakira! Mis comidas favoritas son enchiladas, sushi, tamales, pasta, y helado. ¡Yo puedo comer mucho! Mis deportes favoritos son fútbol y baloncesto. Yo soy en el equipo de fútbol en mi escuela también. Tengo catorce años ahora, pero en el 25 del marzo, ¡voy a ser quince años! Tengo una hermana mayor que tiene veintitrés años y un perro muy bonito. El nombre de mi perro es “pelota de arroz” en japonés, pero no soy japonesa; soy china. No soy una atleta; desafortunadamente solo puedo jugar al tenis. Soy en el equipo del tenis para chicas, pero terminó en noviembre del año pasado. A mi me gusta comer mucho; no tengo una comida favorita. Toda la comida son iguales ricas. ☺ Me gusta beber frappuccinos de Starbucks. Me gusta escuchar música en español de Shakira y Enrique Iglesias. A veces no puedo comprender las letras, pero no es importa. ;) Me gusta cantar también, pero no enfrente de otras personas. No puedo cantar muy bien. ¡A mi me gusta leer mucho! Cuando me gusta un libro mucho, yo duermo muy tarde porque yo quiero terminar el libro. Quiero ver todo el mundo y las culturas diferentes, y este es mi primero oportunidad. Vivo con mis papas en Hawaiian Gardens, California y con mis hermanas Hilda de 16 y Sofia 14 anos. . A mí me encanta el fútbol y juego en el equipo de la escuela. Mi equipo favorito de fútbol es Barcelona FC y me emociono cuando los veo jugar. Tengo dos jugadores favoritos, Kaká y David Villa. Mis pasatiempos favoritos son escuchar música y leer libros.
